This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. You can find the Guideline here!

1. Authors send their academic studies to the UJOSS via an email to the sbedergi@ufuk.edu.tr

2. Incoming articles are received a number and controlled by the technical (Format & Content) aspects.

2.1 Inappropriate articles, according to the journal content and UJOSS Guidelines, are rejected by the Editor confirmation2

2.2. Appropriate articles, according to the journal content and UJOSS Guidelines, are accepted by the Editor confirmation.

2.3. Inappropriate articles, according to the journal content and UJOSS Guidelines, are resent the author for the necessary corrections by the Editor confirmation. There will be 3 days given to the authors.

3. Accepted articles, according to the content and format conditions, are taken into the Blind Peer Review Process and send 2 different Referee who isworking on the same academic field. Authors are informed about the Referee process. Review Process takes 1-3 weeks.

3.1. The article can be rejected based on the 2 negative feedbacks by the referees and the review process is terminated at the end of the review process. The author is informed about the process.

3.2.  The article can be sent to the 3. Referee according to the 1 negative feedback and 1 positive feedback at the end of the review process. The article can be accepted or rejected regarding the 3.referee”s feedback. Additional 2 weeks add to the Review Process for the 3.referee

3.3 Article can be sent back to the Author according to the revision stated by the authors. Regarding the necessary corrections are done, the article takes into Publication Process.

3.3.1. If the article must be seen by the referee after the revision process, the process will start from 3 article. Additional 1 weeks given to the author for making necessary corrections.

3.3.2. If the article must not be seen by the referee, the article takes into Publication Process. Additional 1 weeks given to the author for making necessary corrections.

4.The article can be accepted based on the 2 positive feedbacks by the referees and the Publication Process is started at the end of the review process. The author is informed about the process.

5. Journal Issue Publication Process is triggered by the end of all assessments are finished.
